Privacy Policy
zppyx.com is a free race calendar for Formula 1 fans, run by Robert Parks. This page says what the site collects, why, and for how long. It describes the site as it works, checked against its code and its live systems on October 31, 2026.
Calendar downloads
Downloading a calendar needs no account and stores nothing about you: the file is built when you ask for it and sent straight to your browser.
Email subscriptions
If you subscribe, the site stores:
- your email address;
- random codes for the confirmation link, your personal calendar feed and the unsubscribe link;
- when you signed up and confirmed, and your notification settings.
Nothing else is kept with it: no IP address, location, time zone or language. The address is used only to send the confirmation email, a welcome email with your calendar feed, and an email when a race is added or its date or time changes. It is never sold or shared for marketing. Emails go out through Amazon Simple Email Service (SES).
If you don't confirm, the confirmation link stops working after 48 hours and the sign-up is deleted automatically, usually within ten days. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address and everything stored with it at once.
Your personal calendar feed is a web address with a random code in it. The feed holds only the race calendar, nothing about you, but anyone who has the address sees the same calendar, so keep it to yourself.
Analytics, only if you accept
On your first visit, a box below the site name asks whether zppyx.com may use Google Analytics. Nothing from Google loads unless you choose Accept.
If you accept, Google Analytics 4 records each page's address and title, the site that sent you (if any), how far down you scroll, how long you stay, clicks on links that lead to other sites, which calendar you download, and that you signed up for emails (never your address). It also records your browser, operating system, screen size and language. Google estimates the country or region you connect from using your IP address; Google says Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Two first-party cookies carry a random identifier that lets Google tell one browser and session from another. Besides Google Analytics' own servers, the tag sends a copy of each event to www.google.com.
The figures show how many people use the site and which parts they use. There is no advertising on zppyx.com, and no data is sold. Google LLC processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
- Accept and Decline are each remembered for 12 months, after which the box asks again. To change your mind sooner, use Change your choice at the bottom of this page or the home page.
- Browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal (Brave, DuckDuckGo, and Firefox with that setting on, among others) are treated as Decline: no box and no analytics.
- If you opted out with the switch this site's footer used to have, that choice carries over without the box asking again.
- Declining also removes any Google Analytics cookies an earlier visit left.

The admin pages, used only by the site's operator, keep their sign-in tokens in browser storage, and Amazon Cognito sets its own cookies on its sign-in page.
Server logs
Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3 deliver the pages, and neither is set to write access logs. AWS WAF, which blocks abusive traffic, keeps a sample of recent requests, including IP addresses, for three hours. The functions behind downloads, feeds and subscriptions write one line per request saying what kind of request it was, never your IP address or email address, and those logs are deleted after 7 days.
Where the data is kept
Subscriber data is stored in Amazon DynamoDB in AWS's US East (N. Virginia) region, encrypted at rest, and only ever travels over HTTPS. Amazon Web Services hosts the whole site (see the AWS privacy notice).
Children
zppyx.com is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date below changes with it.
